Matt and I have been together for 14 years so it seems a little strange that we’re only celebrating our second wedding anniversary but we can both say with complete certainty that these two years have been our best yet. We feel so blessed to be where we are and wouldn’t change the path we’ve chosen for anything. It’s so important to us that we document each year how we’re feeling, the highs and lows, and what we’ve learned. Our high for year two is absolutely our careers. We both love our jobs more than we ever thought possible and feel like we are exactly where we are meant to be. Our low for year two is that we haven’t put our health first but I’m so happy to say that we’re already making positive strides to change this and are already feeling so much better.

What we’ve learned:

1. It doesn’t get easier

2. Dinner doesn’t cook itself – Sadly I didn’t get my parents amazing cooking skills so if you have any tips or recipes, I would love to hear them!!
